The Iriderm Laser light is absorbed by red blood cells on the face that carry oxygen—specifically broken capillaries (telangiectasias), as well as brown and black spots. Lighter skinned patients, such as of English or Irish ancestry, are more common to develop telangiectasias, although this facial condition can affect people of any background.
